POA Parrilla — Uruguayan grill in Moinhos de Vento, Porto Alegre
Always cooked to perfection
the house ritual
It's not just a dish. It's the dish you chose.
At POA Parrilla you see the pieces, choose the cut and the weight, and tell us how you like it. We take it to the wood-fire embers. Cuts are sold by the kilo: the price shown is a reference for the weight indicated.

the house
A Uruguayan parrilla on the square.
Since June 2019 POA Parrilla has been lighting the wood fire on Praça Maurício Cardoso, in Moinhos de Vento. We started with 40 seats, the grill at the back and the sound of milongas.
No secrets, no fads: we honor the tradition of the authentic parrilla. From the quality of the pasture to the intensity of the fire, from the precise cut to the temperature of the drink — all to get to what matters: meat cooked to perfection.

manifesto
There is a place where the flames scatter the darkness, a place where the firewood surrenders to its destiny of becoming fire.
The heat inspires our craft of translating perfection in its raw state: meat, iron, fire and salt.
We are driven by a force that pushes us to bring to every plate the aromas and flavors of the ancestral Pampa, by the fire.
from the embers to the table
Meat, iron, fire and salt.
The parrillero tends the embers; the table fills with achuras, provoleta, potatoes and whatever else the fire calls for. To finish, the dulce de leche pancake, finished on the grill.
